Rebecca Hermosillo

Sonoma County’s 1st District Supervisor

Business, environment, and labor leaders agree:

Rebecca Hermosillo is our choice for Sonoma County’s 1st district Supervisor.

Rebecca was born and raised in Sonoma Valley. The daughter of first-generation immigrants, Rebecca’s work ethic comes from working side by side with her dad on the Leveroni Dairy and in their family market and restaurant – Mi Tienda. As a single mom, Rebecca has had to work hard to provide for her family, while always giving back to the community she loves. Rebecca graduated from the Santa Rosa Junior College and Empire college. Going to night school, she finished her Bachelors in public administration from Park University.

As Supervisor, Rebecca will work hard for us.

Rebecca’s passion for people led to her taking the reins of the Valley of the Moon Teen Center after the small community was rocked by the loss of one of their youths to gang violence. Stepping in and helping heal deep wounds, Rebecca showed an ability to lead with compassion and to treat people with dignity and respect.

For the last ten years, Rebecca has served as the right-hand person to Congressman Mike Thompson, helping her constituents to navigate federal agencies, access funding, and making sure their voices are heard in the halls of Congress.

Sonoma County’s first Supervisorial district has all or part of Sonoma, Glen Ellen, Kenwood, and Santa Rosa.
